Viindoo HRM - build your team on data
Recruitment, skills, training, attendance, overtime, payroll and appraisal on one data foundation, carrying on into accounting and cost. Social insurance, personal income tax and trade union fees follow Vietnamese regulations.
The HR software sits inside the whole Viindoo system
Viindoo HRM is not a standalone HR product. It shares one data foundation with sales, purchasing, inventory, manufacturing, accounting and projects, so payroll carries on instead of stopping at the HR desk.

Where HR usually gets stuck
Data sits in separate places
- Every pay cycle you lose days reconciling separate lists: attendance, overtime, leave, allowances.
- An employment contract expires and nobody noticed until the renewal date had passed.
- Leave requests are on paper, so at month end you match them against the time clock sheet by sheet.
Cost cannot be traced
- The wage bill jumps this cycle and you cannot point to which unit or which work caused it.
- Someone disputes an allowance or a deduction and you have no history to explain it.
- You cannot say how much labour a product or a project carries, you only estimate it.
People do not grow
- Someone in charge resigns suddenly and you have no data to pick a successor from your own team.
- Courses run constantly but each person's skill record never changes.
- End of cycle appraisal still rests on the manager's impression because there is no per-person data.
Two jobs, one data foundation
Companies run HR software for two jobs. Drop either one and the other comes up short.
Connect people to money and to operations
Every unit spent on people traces back to where it came from: which unit, which shift, which product.
Open a growth path for each person
You know who is short of what, and finishing a course updates the skill record, so the team gets stronger, not just bigger.
The HR flow, end to end
Nine steps on one data foundation. No step retypes the figures of the step before it.
- 1Recruitment - applications move through the stages you defined, and a hire becomes an employee record directly.
- 2Skills - a grade-based framework per position, so gaps show immediately.
- 3Training - courses built around that framework, and finishing one updates the skill record.
- 4Attendance - time clocks push straight in, and each scan lands on one person's record.
- 5Overtime - shifts approved up front, with the rate following the shift type.
- 6Payroll - payslips built from those same hours, with insurance and tax on their own lines.
- 7Appraisal - every round closes against the same framework, tied to company objectives.
- 8Cost - the wage bill readable by unit and by period.
- 9Product cost - those hours carry on into product cost or project cost.
For the demo, bring: one real payslip and one period of attendance.
What makes this different from other HR software
Most HR software handles records and payroll well. The difference lies in two places: how far the payroll figure travels, and whether the software helps people grow.
A standalone HR tool
- Stops at the payslip. To reach accounting or costing you export a spreadsheet, retype it, and one wrong cell throws off the cycle.
- Usually covers the managing half only: records, attendance, pay calculation.
- Pay is calculated the way the product was built, and anything else waits on the vendor.
- Vietnamese insurance and tax tend to be an add-on.
Only this far
Viindoo HRM
- Payroll carries straight into the accounting ledger and into cost, with no retyping.
- Covers both managing and building on one foundation: skills, training, objectives and appraisal connect to each other and to pay.
- Salary rules, overtime rates and skill frameworks are all yours to declare.
- Insurance, personal income tax and trade union fees are declared with effective dates, built in.
Manage
Build
To be fair about it: if you only need pay calculated and no connection to the rest of the business, a standalone HR tool is enough. This difference only earns its price when you need the whole chain.
Who can see the payslips
This is the first question most HR directors ask before putting payroll data into software. Viindoo splits the payroll application into four levels of access.
Employee
Sees only their own payslip. This is a record rule inside the system, not merely a hidden screen.
Team leader
Sees their own payslips and those of their subordinates, and nothing else in the company.
Payroll officer
Sees every payslip and payroll run. On employment contracts they can read only, not edit or delete.
Administrator
Full rights on the payroll application, contracts included.
To be plain about it: this is access control, not encryption. Whoever administers the whole system can still technically reach the data, so keep that list of people as short as you can.
Two things you get from Viindoo
You set the rules
Salary rules, overtime rates, skill frameworks and appraisal forms are all yours to define, not something the software imposes. The way your company works stays the way your company works.
Built for Vietnamese business
Social, health and unemployment insurance, trade union fees, progressive personal income tax and its deductions are all declared with effective dates. When policy changes you edit a parameter, and earlier payslips keep the earlier rates.
Price and trial
Try it before you decide. How it is charged and the billing questions are all public.
A demo on your own data
Bring one real payslip and one month of attendance. We rebuild your own calculation on Viindoo and put it next to the spreadsheet you use today, to see where they differ.
Tell us where it hurts most
Pick what is stuck today and we will shape the demo around exactly that.
Frequently asked questions
No. The contribution rate of each insurance type and of the trade union fee is a parameter in the software, with the employee share and the company share declared separately, and you can edit it yourself. Each change is kept with its effective date range, so payslips from earlier months keep the earlier rates. The progressive personal income tax table and the deductions for the taxpayer and their dependants are also declared with effective dates. When policy changes substantially we update the sample rule set in a new release, but you do not have to wait for it to compute correctly.
The payroll application has four levels of access: an employee sees only their own payslip, a team leader also sees their subordinates', a payroll officer sees every payslip but can only read employment contracts, and an administrator has full rights. These limits sit at the data layer, not merely on the screen. But to be plain: this is access control, not encryption. Whoever administers the whole system can still reach the data, so the real work is keeping that list of people short and reviewing it regularly.
Salary rules in Viindoo are yours to declare: each item is a rule with a code, a formula, a condition and a position in the calculation order. Most of the particular arrangements we meet can be built by configuration, including allowances per unit, result bonuses and canteen deductions. If your calculation needs data the software does not hold yet, that part is development work, and we will say so before quoting rather than promise that configuration covers everything.
Software written for you fits you on the day it is handed over. What you then carry yourself is: changes to insurance and tax policy, the author leaving, and the work of connecting to accounting, inventory and manufacturing. Most of the value here is not inside the HR application, it is that hours carry on into product cost and into the accounting ledger without anyone retyping them. If you only need pay calculated and no connection to the rest of the business, having it written for you is a reasonable choice, and we will say so honestly.
A payroll run computes as a batch in the background, so the whole company is one run rather than person by person. The genuinely heavy part is the raw time clock data, and that depends on your server rather than on the software. We do not put a time figure here because it changes with the server and with how your salary rules are written. Bring your real scale to the demo and we will build it at that scale.
The Viindoo HRM applications
The applications in the HR group. Turn on what you need, not all of it.
Start with one of your payslips
You do not have to do everything at once. Take one real month of pay, rebuild it on Viindoo, and compare it with the spreadsheet you use now. Wherever they differ tells you where to start.
