The Problem
- You want to set up and manage the stages for each project.
- In the Kanban view of the Project management app, when you group the tasks by other criteria, you won't be able to tell which stage the tasks are in.
- E.g. You group the task by Assignees, in this case, the stage columns are replaced by the Assignees. But with each assignee, how many tasks are new? How many tasks are done? You won't be able to tell.
The Solution
- Add the Stages tab to the Project detail view, which allows you to configure the stages for each project right on the Project detail.
- This module allows you to set a color for each stage, when a task is moved to a new stage, it will be marked with the color of that stage. Therefore, when you group the tasks by other criteria, you can tell which stage the tasks are in.

Installation
- Navigate to Apps.
- Search with keyword to_project_stages.
- Press Install.

Activate the feature
Navigate to Project > Configuration > Settings, on the Project Management section, check on the Configure project stages to activate this feature.
Configure stages for a project
Go to the Project Management app, select a project, and edit. On the Project detail view, you will see the Stages tab appear allows you to set up the project's stages.
You can Add a line to create a new stage or click on a stage to see the stage detail.
Note: You can also configure a stage by going inside a project, on the Kanban view, clicking on the Setting icon of each stage, and selecting Edit Stage.
Set up color for each stage
This module will add the Color in Kanban field on the stage detail, allowing you to set up a color for this stage to show in Kanban.
When a task is pulled to this stage, the check mark on the task will change to the stage color.
When you group the tasks by other criteria, even though the tasks are in different columns, you can still tell which tasks are in which stage.
