Problems
By default, warranty policies for products are not added to the lot/series, it is difficult to apply proper warranty policy for products by lot/series.
 
What it does
This module adds some lot/serial-related features to integrate Warranty apps and Inventory apps.
 
Key Features
- Add the warranty information on the product when creating a new lot/serial number.
 
- Add the warranty information for lot/serial number when creating a new Warranty Claim, if there is a lot/serial number selected.
 
- Allow users to create warranty claims from the lot/serial number form.
 
- Show warranty claim history on the lot/serial number form.

Create warranty request from a lot/serial number
On a lot/serial number, press Create Warranty Request to be redirected to the create a warranty claim form.
The lot/serial number warranty information is updated automatically to the warranty claim.
Tips: Similar to the warranty request creation from the lot/serial number form, navigate to the Warranty app > Warranty Claim > Create to create a new one. Once a lot/serial number is selected, the previously configured warranty information will be displayed accordingly.
 
Warranty history on lots/serial numbers
Once the warranty claim is created, the historical warranty information of the product tracked with this lot/serial number will be displayed at the top right corner of the screen.
